OpenWorld was by far the largest conference I'd ever been to. There are at least two extremely large convention centers with dozens of different vendors with their own unique displays, and I was looking forward to meeting people in the industry. I attended the keynote with Dave and 10,000 other people on Sunday night where Larry Ellison made some important announcements about the direction of Oracle and some of their new products. After that finished, we took a bus back to our hotel at Fisherman's Wharf where we walked around the pier in the cool air.

Monday and Tuesday were very busy days for us, and between Andrew, Dave and myself, we were able to contact nearly 200 PeopleSoft users personally that expressed further interest in our products and services. Our hosting and test drive of PeopleSoft Instances on the AWS Cloud was the concept that stopped people in their tracks, so it was easy to lead off with that and pique interest. We met a lot of great people, and I left the next afternoon to return to Houston. It was a blast and I'm really glad I went!
